About Me
My name is Leslie and I was born on a cold winter afternoon in 1987. I emerged from my mother on a small harley-davidson motorcycle with a cig in my mouth. I slid across the cold, tile floor, clenching my soft butt-cheeks to the seat of my bike. My doctor couldn't stop coughing from the intensity of the cig smoke, while the nurses huddled in the corner and cried hysterically at the site of me and my leather jacket that read "The Corrupter." I stared at my doctor, a sort of death stare that said his biggest regret will be today. Bringing me into this world was a bad idea, doc. My dad closed his eyes and took a hit from his blunt as my mom sighed and wiped the sweat off her forehead.
Things have settled down since then. We moved to a small town and made a name for ourselves. We erased our past and focused on being the neighbors next door with the white picket fence. We even hired 5 cats and a dog to stay with us, to go with our image of course. My dad became known as the town historian and the president of the Rotary Club. My mom spent most of her days at home planting flowers and trying out new stencils on the wall. As for me, I was forced to hide my bad@$$ and focus on things that are expected of me- nice language, cute smiles, and good grades. My mom threw away my leather jacket and replaced it with a denim one that read "Osh Kosh B'gosh."
Life hasn't been easy for us, that's for sure. Hiding our true selves gets difficult at times, but we make the best of it. Now I'm a college student, starting an education program in grad school. I like to listen to The Cure on my iPod while I run at night; I like playing PC strategy games; I like reading outside; and I love to learn about modern european history. I think the '90s were the best (the Corrupter side of me holds a special place in my heart for grunge music), but I can't wait for the future. All in all, I look forward to going back to the quiet life in a small town. My Osh Kosh B'gosh days beat my Corrupter days. ;)

Welcome, Leslie!
Your storytelling is amazing and the way you look at the world is truly unique.
We have a few in common, like The Office, my favourite TV show, not to mention my endless love for cats. I have three old ones, who own me. :))
Wishing you all the best!
